I was going through our stock shots and I came across these and laughed. Jesus reminded me of the verse that all of creation speaks about Him and I was like, "Lord, what does this say about you?" = ).
Here's the Bible verse. Romans 1:20 (The Message)
"But the basic reality of God is plain enough. Open your eyes and there it is! By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can't see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being."
So, what does this tell me about Jesus?
Well, He's got an amazing imagination. He is a creative genius. He has an eye and taste for the unusual. He has an incredible sense of humour. He cannot be put into a box and He is simply wayyy tooooo cooooool!!!
The 3rd. shot...that funky bug thingy, lives right here in our garden.
That last shot is like so great. It's like..."what's up bro! how u doin today?"
We serve an awesome God!!

Hey!
Love the blog!
That weird thing lives in your garden?!?!?!?!?!
Without presuming too much I would safely say I'm not coming round to South Lantau any time soon!
Keep it up!

ha!ha!..aww! c'mon he's cute. No...you don't agree? =) oh! well, at least I tried = ). Honestly, most of the bugs freak me out too, but Ed has such a fascination for them ???! and since he comes to my rescue every time I have a bug encounter, it sorta works... and it's not often, only once every day or so... just kidding =). Seriously, a few bugs is not worth missing out on visiting this side of HK. So no, you did not presume too much, anytime (soon or ...er! unsoon) you decide to brave out the critters c'mon over. You'll like it, it'll bring out the creative in you and judging by some of the poems you've written, that's a very good thing. =)

What would South Lantau be without the CRITTERS?! BOR--ING!
And I saw a big rat snake yesterday, so thick, about 2 metres long. So cool. How does God program animals to do what they are supposed to do? He just said, "Ask me," ok, so I'm asking, . . . ok, now I'm listening . . . not very well. It seems like he said he puts the spirit of life into each animal individually, but he seems to mean it in quite a personal way . . . not too far off from what I would hve guessed. Can I get a witness on that??
I like all the creepy guys . . . except MOSQUITOS!! Which has everything to do with the fact that about 1,000 swarm outside my door every evening. I guess they don't actually qualify as 'creepies' because they don't creep, they fly . . .

I witness, I witness...I see how different each of our doggies are and I know our God has created each one in a personal way, and as the Bible says if He does this with the birds of the air and the lillies of the field, then how much more us.
mosquitos... now there's a puzzlement.
